We have years of experience with laser and light therapy to reach the deeper layers of skin without harming the skin’s surface. Laser treatment may affect the oil (sebaceous) glands, causing them to produce less oil. Light therapy attacks the bacteria that cause acne inflammation. These therapies can also improve skin texture and improve the appearance of scars, including skin peels to improve the condition.

Dr DeBartolo does not feel that dermabrasion or microdermabraision is a good option because both techniques cause the skin to thin and accelerate aging.
