Psoriasis is a very common skin condition and is very under diagnosed. Psoriasis can present as redness or as white or silver patches. Psoriasis may be triggered by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and mycoplasma. It can cause hair thinning. Treatment may include prescription creams, ointments, oral and injectable medications, phototherapy and laser therapy.

Psoriasis can affect any part of your body. Psoriasis is graded mild when less than 3% of the body is affected, moderate when 3-10% of the body is affected and severe when over 10% of the body is infected.
