Algae Peptides – This leading-edge ingredient is extracted from Hawaiian red sea algae. It has a high content of a protein called hydroxyproline. This unique protein is responsible for helping the skin to make new collagen. Glycolic (Alpha Hydroxy) Acid – Glycolic acid occurs naturally as the acid of sugar cane. Dermatologists have studied its positive effects on our skin for more than twenty years. Glycolic has been shown to decrease the dead skin layer, increase the thickness of the living skin, help to even out the skin tone, and keep the pores clean. Salicylic (Beta Hydroxy) Acid – This gentle exfoliating ingredient has long been used in dermatologic preparations, but only recently has it gained popularity and recognition for effectiveness at gently reversing the signs of aging skin and keeping the skin surface smooth.
